On this episode I had the pleasure of with Troy Blackwell, a seasoned Communications Strategist and politico. A champion for diversity, Troy is currently the Head of Press Logistics for Philanthropist Tom Steyer. In this position, he manages the traveling press and broadcast operations. Prior to this, he worked as a press advance lead for Kamala Harris' presidential campaign and an associate in the Obama White House. In 2019, he was the Senior Director for PRSA-NY’s Big Apple Awards where he awarded Beyonce’s longtime publicist Yvette Noel-Schure. He is the youngest member on the Board of Advisor's for the Museum of Public Relations and Board of Directors for the Black Public Relations Society-NY and PRSA Tri-state.
